By Hoang Vu July 12, 2024 | 9:00 PM PT Three luxury resorts in Vietnam’s popular beach destinations – Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc and Da Nang – have been voted the most beloved resorts in Southeast Asia by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.
Alma Resort Cam Ranh was ranked first with a score of 99.2 out of 100.
Located along Long Beach on the Cam Ranh coast, Alma Resort is about 40km from Nha Trang Beach Town and features 384 rooms and 194 villas surrounded by lush trees.

There are also 12 swimming pools, a variety of water sports, a wave pool, a lazy river, an activity-packed kids’ club and a youth club for teens.
New World Phu Quoc Resort, located in An Thoi District, Phu Quoc Island, off the coast of Khem Beach, which was voted one of the 50 most beautiful beaches in the world by U.S. News & World Report, ranked fourth with 97.64 points.
It has 375 villas surrounded by coconut groves.

The resort’s design is inspired by fishing villages, and the villas are made from eco-friendly materials such as wood and bamboo.
The resort also has a fitness center and studio, a spa with 16 treatment rooms, and a kids’ club.
Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa, located at the foot of Da Nang’s Marble Mountains, ranked 5th.
Overlooking Non Nuoc Beach, the hotel features 198 rooms and suites, 160 apartments and 22 villas.
The resort has 5 outdoor pools and is a 30-minute drive from Hoi An.

The rankings are part of the annual World’s Best Awards, which are determined by 700,000 votes.
Resorts were specifically rated based on criteria such as facilities, location, quality of service, food and value.
India’s Oberoi Rajvilas has been named the best resort in the world.
