[Chiba]Oriental Land, which operates Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, opened the interior of Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel to the press on Tuesday. A lodging facility will open on June 6th in the newest area of Tokyo DisneySea in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture.
The hotel will have the most expensive guest rooms of any hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort, and is expected to be used by Disney fans and foreign visitors to Japan.
Fantasy Springs Hotel has a total floor area of 64,000 square meters and 475 rooms. It consists of two buildings. The 419-room Fantasy Chateau is inspired by the new Fantasy Springs area, while the 56-room, luxuriously appointed Grand Chateau is comprised of two buildings.
Accommodation rates at Fantasy Chateau start from 66,000 yen per room per night, while accommodation rates at Grand Chateau start from 341,000 yen per room per night. Guests will receive benefits such as special admission options to new areas.
A representative from the hotel management company said, “Although the price range is high, we will provide an unprecedented lodging experience.”
In response to the spread of the new coronavirus, Oriental Land has revised its fees at Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea in order to control the number of visitors. In March 2021, the company raised the maximum price for adult one-day passports from 9,400 yen to 10,900 yen.
According to Oriental Land, the number of visitors has increased even after the price increase. In the fiscal year ending March 2024, both sales and net income are expected to reach record highs.
