PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – One week is not enough time to show appreciation for our region and the people who make it great. That’s why the Bay County Chamber of Commerce is extending this celebration through this month.
In partnership with Visit Panama City Beach, Destination Panama City, and Mexico Beach, fun events are planned each month that express the importance of tourism in directly impacting the economy and residents.
Kicking off with First Friday on the Beach at FSU Panama City on May 3, Visit PCB’s Dan Rowe will provide the latest information on Bay County tourism. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Don’t miss the Tourism Appreciation Lunch at Destination Panama City on May 6th from 11am to 2pm. Enjoy stunning views of downtown Panama City and networking opportunities with other community members. To stay up to date with all the latest information, sign up for the Destination Panama City newsletter.
The Chamber will host the Spring Classic Golf Tournament on May 17th at Bay Point Golf Club. To register for that event, contact the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.
Finally, the Tourism After Hours and Cornhole Tournament will be held on May 21st at destination Panama City.
