The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission has launched the Louisiana Sweet Spot Cocktail Trail. This includes 15 local establishments that have created their own versions of the Sweet Spot cocktail.
The annual event begins on May 1st and continues until July 31st.
Passports are required to participate and are available at each facility, according to a news release.
Get a stamp when you buy a cocktail. After collecting 10 stamps, participants will receive a special gift at the Visitor Center (while supplies last).

Local participating establishments include Agave Blue Tequila and Taco Bar, Daruma Ramen, Don’s Seafood, Galvez Seafood, Gaston’s Barbecue and Beer, Gila Brewing, Grapevine Cafe and Gallery, Hot Tails, Homas House and Gardens, Mike Anderson’s Gonzalez and Includes Prairieville and Premier Lanes. , Sammy’s Grill, Snow’s Seafood and Steak, and Sugarfield Spirits.
“This trail provides an exciting way to support local facilities in Ascension Parish and drive business during a typically slow time,” APTC Executive Director Tracy Browning said in the release. “We hope people from neighboring parishes will come and experience our wonderful restaurants, distilleries and breweries.”
