At the Arabian Travel Market 2024, Alain Saint-Ange experienced unprecedented service from the World Travel Organization, highlighting the travel fair’s dynamic ability to adapt to the needs of visitors.
Travel and tourism fairs open the door for many tourist destinations, airlines and various tourism support services to promote themselves to the industry and the public. This remains the mission behind the travel and tourism fair. Offers come from everywhere, but even if you’ve been attending these events for years, very few will surprise regular attendees.
But at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, Alain St. Ange, director of St. Ange Tourism Consultancy, spoke of being surprised by the UK’s World Travel Organization.
“With Mohamed Zaaza, CEO of the Global Travel Organization (GTO), who plans to use an ATM to head to the UK, he discusses the best way to get from London to Oxford, where he is scheduled to attend the event. We discussed my need for advice. He explained his services to me, created an itinerary for my trip to London, and even booked my train tickets for me before giving me a trial run of his organization. I was totally surprised when he recommended membership and by the end of the meeting I had a train ticket and a membership card for the London-Oxford trip.I was impressed by his efficiency. As I said, it was good to see trading reach new heights,” said Alan St. Ange at ATM.
Travel and tourism fairs can also put pressure on veterans, as in this case at an ATM in Dubai.
