Sonoma County Tourism honored numerous professionals and businesses who have made achievements in the region’s tourism and hospitality industry with its 2024 Star of the Industry Awards Ceremony on May 22. The fourth annual gathering was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sonoma Wine Country in Rohnert Park.
“The event was designed to honor the businesses that contribute to the well-being of our community and make Sonoma County a thriving vacation destination, as well as the unsung hospitality workers who go above and beyond in serving our visitors,” the tourism bureau said in a statement.
The evening’s emcee was Leslie Sbrocco, author, speaker and host of KQED’s Check, Please!
As they do every year, Sonoma County Tourism asked the local hospitality industry to nominate candidates, after which a committee narrowed the field down to three finalists in each category. Industry professionals then voted online to determine the winners.
