UN Tourism participates in online workshop on Halal tourism development for OIC member states
UN Tourism submitted its proposal to the workshop on how to develop a unified halal tourism certification framework. The workshop, which was jointly organized by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Center of Islamic Countries (SESRIC), the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia and the Islamic Trade Development Center (ICDT), focused on international best practices on how to develop halal tourism activities, standards and practices.
