The St. John Valley Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is pleased to announce the appointment of several new members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The Chamber is honored to welcome these community leaders, each bringing unique perspectives and valuable expertise to further the Chamber’s mission of promoting economic growth and tourism in the region.
The newly appointed officers are Sarah Desrosiers, therapist and owner of Alternate Roots Therapy & Consultation Services LLC at the Madawaska Trauma & Addiction Recovery Centre, Dennis Ackley, store manager at VIP Tire & Service, Max Thomas, store manager at Hannaford Madawaska and Linda Foris, owner of Mad Town Variety.
Their combined experience spans a wide range of industries, from hospitality and tourism to entrepreneurship and community development. With their diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to the St. John Valley region, they are well poised to contribute significantly to the Chamber’s initiatives and strategic objectives.
The Chamber is also proud to announce the promotion of several esteemed members of the Board of Directors. These members have demonstrated exemplary leadership, dedication and commitment to the Chamber’s mission, and their high positions reflect their immeasurable contributions to the organization.
The promoted officers are: Elaine Clavette: Chairperson, President of NorState Federal Credit Union. Sam Corey: Vice Chairperson, President of Robert’s Jewelry. Tammy Nadeau: Treasurer, President of Lajoie Funeral Home. Sara Desrosier: Secretary, President of Alternate Roots Therapy & Consultation Services, LLC at the Madawaska Center for Trauma & Addiction Recovery.
As the Chamber enters a new chapter with a refreshed board of directors, it remains committed to supporting local businesses in the St. John Valley, promoting tourism and improving the quality of life for residents and visitors.
