TEHRAN – The ancient city of Khorramabad has introduced a virtual tour featuring 360-degree and aerial photography to highlight its main historical and natural sites.
Khorramabad municipality officials said on Wednesday that a virtual tour was now underway showcasing key tourist sites using 360-degree photography and aerial images.
Hanie Nasiri added that the “My Khorramabad” app, created to showcase the city’s most important historical and natural attractions, was launched during the past Nowruz, laying the groundwork for virtual sightseeing tours.
Khorramabad, the capital of Iran’s Lorestan province, boasts a rich history and natural attractions, making it an attractive destination for tourists.
The city is home to impressive historical sites, including Falak-ul-Aflak Castle, a magnificent fortress dating back to the Sassanid period that overlooks the city and offers a glimpse into Iran’s ancient architecture.
The brick minaret is another tourist attraction in the city, known for its unique brickwork and historical significance.
Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, Khorramabad also boasts natural wonders such as Lake Keyau and Makhmalkou National Park, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
