“When we talk about friendly relations, the role of tourism is particularly important,” Zahari Zahariev, chairman of the Bulgarian Belt and Road Association, said at the event.
Citing his personal travel experience, he said direct connections between Chinese regions and Bulgarian people, Bulgarian regions and cities can most effectively improve Bulgaria-China relations.
“We sincerely hope that through this conference to promote culture and tourism, more Bulgarians can get to know and love Qinghai province,” said Guan Xin, cultural counselor at the Chinese embassy in Bulgaria.
Tourists planning to visit the area will be able to experience Qinghai’s magnificent natural scenery, local folklore and customs, social development and environmental protection, Guan said.
Qinghai Province is located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and is rich in mineral, cultural and tourism resources.
