I may be biased, but Colorado is an amazing place to spend time. As a Colorado resident, I see firsthand why thousands of tourists flock here every year. Whether you’re going to a concert at Red Rocks, skiing or snowboarding in Aspen, or exploring our national parks, Colorado offers something for everyone.
More than 20 million people visit Colorado each year, spending approximately $3 billion. Tourism is a major economic driver for Colorado, and we depend on it.
Colorado generates the 13th highest tourism revenue in the U.S., but the new rankings show that there are no cities in the state that are considered must-see destinations.
Colorado dominates the rankings
CNN’s list of “Best American Towns to Visit in 2024” has been released. No cities or towns in Colorado are on the list, but cities in Minnesota, Tennessee, Michigan and Georgia are. Tacoma, Washington, is also mentioned.
Is it okay to talk at length?
Colorado has a lot to offer and it’s a shame that so many of its cities and towns are left off of lists like this. I was surprised Colorado was overlooked. I’ve visited quite a few of the cities and towns on the list, but nothing compares to Colorado.
