As you cruise, you’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of procedurally generated wildlife with artificial intelligence – attract and feed virtual fish as you navigate the waterways.
Because it travels on rails, you cannot steer the kayak, but you can stop at various points to enjoy the views by using the throttle speed control on your motorized kayak or by disembarking at scenic rest areas.
The tour is short and lacks historical context for history buffs, but it’s still a fun tour that’s perfect for VR newbies.

Realities is a VR travel app that lets you explore scanned and modeled real-world environments. The environments aren’t just 360 photos – these places have been captured with special scanning equipment, allowing for immersive rendering in virtual reality.
The user interface is a giant globe that you rotate with the VR controller: once you’ve decided where you want to visit, you tap an area on the virtual globe and are instantly transported to that exotic location.

When Google Earth was released many years ago, everyone was amazed by the novelty of being able to find and view your home from satellite imagery. Now, with Google Earth VR (free from Google), you can see your home from space or even fly virtually to stand in your front yard or on your rooftop.
You can change the position of the sun, zoom in and out on objects to any size, and fly around the world. The level of detail depends on what you’re trying to show. Tourist destinations, for example, tend to show more detailed geospatial imagery than rural areas. There’s a lot to see, and Google provides virtual tours to help you get started.
