Carnival Liberty will set sail from New Orleans this summer, making multiple stops at beach vacation destinations.
According to a recent news release from Carnival, the ship will make several departures from New Orleans this summer on seven-day itineraries to the Eastern or Western Caribbean.
Another ship, the Carnival Glory, has been shut down for more than two weeks while several spots on the ship are upgraded, according to a news release. Recent additions include a new bar and lounge exclusively for veterans and active military, a photo studio, and more.
Other spaces such as the casino, spa and youth areas have also been redesigned. Frequent cruisers may notice new decor and furnishings in all public areas on board.
The Glory has not yet announced whether it plans to sail from New Orleans.
These are the destinations Carnival will depart from New Orleans in 2024.
eastern caribbean cruise
Carnival Liberty will sail from New Orleans for the first time for a seven-day Eastern Caribbean vacation.
From May 26 to June 2, the ship will make stops in Key West, Freeport, and Nassau before returning to Crescent City.
Other dates on this itinerary are July 7-14 and August 4-11.
western caribbean cruise
Carnival Liberty is planning two Western Caribbean cruises departing from New Orleans in June. Destinations include Mahogany Bay, Belize, Cozumel, and more. The dates for both cruises are June 2-9 and June 16-23.
Another Western Caribbean cruise departs from New Orleans and stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel over the course of seven days. The dates are June 9th to 16th, June 23rd to 30th, July 21st to 28th, and August 18th to 25th.
Western Caribbean cruises will also be offered later in the summer. The first will run from June 30th to July 7th and July 28th to August 4th, sailing through Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel.
The final seven-day Western Caribbean cruise will take you to Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel from July 14th to 21st, August 11th to 18th, and August 25th to September 1st.
