ST. CLOUD (WJON News) – Join St. Cloud State University on a trip around the world Wednesday night.
The showcase features music, dance and skits from cultures around the world, from China and South Korea to Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.
Angie Witte is SCSU’s associate director of multicultural student services. She says the event has become an annual highlight.
We decided to do what we call a Journey Across the World, showcasing about 20 different cultures in one night. Mainly songs and dances, with some Chinese, Korean, Hmong, Latin American, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Ethiopian, Cameroonian, Indian, and Bangladeshi (and others).
“Journey Around the World” is a one-night-only show at the Paramount Center for the Arts starting Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
