SINGAPORE – Macau, known as the “Las Vegas of the East” for its large number of casinos, is looking to woo Singaporeans with itineraries and experiences aimed at young people and families with its upcoming roadshow.
Organized by the Macau Government Tourism Organization (MGTO) in collaboration with other partners, Experience Macau Roadshow will run from 25 to 28 April at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center from 11:30am to 9pm. It will be held until 1:30 p.m.
It will include booths showcasing tourist attractions such as Senado Square and The Venetian Macau, blending the city’s Portuguese and Chinese historical influences with its architecture and lifestyle offerings.
The booths will be hosted by Macau’s tourism partners, including the Hengqin Economic Development Bureau, six Macau integrated resort companies, and Air Macau. Travel companies such as Chan Brothers Travel and Nam Ho Travel will also participate.
Additionally, the roadshow will include games, performances, and a raffle with prizes including resort vouchers, hotel stays, cruise tickets, and more.
With a vibrant entertainment scene and rich cultural heritage, Macau is expected to attract at least 33 million tourists in 2024 by marketing family-friendly attractions and budget-friendly travel packages aimed at young tourists. We aim to welcome you.
According to statistics from the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the number of visitors to the city in 2023 was just over 22.5 million. Of these visitors, 91,219 were from Singapore.
Singapore is currently the eighth largest international tourist market for Macau, which is located an hour’s ferry ride from Hong Kong.
Air Macau and Scoot both operate direct flights between Macau and Singapore. Round-trip flights from Singapore to Macau on Scoot in May start from $232.15 based on ST checks.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Macau SAR, MGTO will be rolling out special discounts on flights, hotels, dining and entertainment. These will be available at Roadshow, MGTO’s social media platforms and online tourism partner websites.
