The United States is committed to expanding travel to the U.S. with a new visa waiver policy. This policy change allows travelers from some countries to enter the U.S. for business or tourism purposes without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. Jamaica to welcome historic 2 million visitors in first five months of 2024 Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett reported that Jamaica recorded two million visitors in the first five months of the year. Tourism between Ireland and Northern Ireland is set to triple between 2013 and 2023, according to new research. The study, carried out by the University of Ulster and Dublin City University, looked at levels of cross-border tourism and found that it had risen sharply in the decade leading up to last year. In 2013, there were fewer than 100,000 cross-border trips per quarter, but over the decade that figure has risen to an average of 300,000.
