Airbnb has announced Canada’s top summer vacation spots for 2024, detailing the best places to visit in the country if you’re looking for the perfect staycation.
In a press release shared with Narcity, Airbnb announced the top 10 domestic travel spots to visit this year. The top three destinations for Canadians are:

About two hours from Toronto, the Blue Mountains are a year-round vacation spot in Ontario known for its spas, beaches, skiing and snowboarding. This destination has been named the country’s best vacation spot for summer 2024.
Blue Mountain Resort is a popular tourist destination with natural beauty, luxurious Scandinavian spas, and a pedestrian village that feels like a piece of Europe.
Here, during the summer, you can hike along scenic trails, ride an outdoor gondola, or zip through the forest on a mountain coaster.
Wasaga Beach is just 30 minutes away. This beach is one of the best in the state, with white sand and pristine shores.
La Haute-Gaspésie, Quebec
Voted the second most popular vacation spot in the country, Quebec’s La Haute-Gaspésie is a quaint coastal village nestled between towering cliffs and the endless Gulf of St. Lawrence.
A nature lover’s paradise, the region offers hang gliding, canyoning, ziplining, open-air geode mining, and hiking in the Gaspésie National Park in Saint-Anne-des-Monts. Gaspésie National Park has over 25 mountains over 1,000 meters high. .
