The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association is searching for the next generation of hospitality and tourism leaders in the Caribbean.
CHTA has launched the next session of its Young Leaders Forum, chaired by Barbadian hotelier and former CHTA President Patricia Afonso-Das.
“The Young Leaders Forum serves as the foundation for developing the next generation of hospitality professionals,” said Vanessa Ledesma, CHTA’s Acting CEO and Acting Executive Director. “These emerging leaders are the future and embody the promise of a dynamic and thriving industry. CHTA’s mission goes beyond career preparation. We aim to develop leaders who will enrich the community and the community alike.”
The program, which is currently accepting applications, is “focused on developing the next generation of the Caribbean hospitality industry and empowering new leaders in the region,” according to CHTA.
The program has become an important platform for networking, and many alumni have active roles on CHTA committees.
