Article Summary
Square Enix announces FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrails with a satirical tourism video. Dive into the new region of Tular, packed with online adventures and interactive elements. Expect new content, including an increased level cap, Viper jobs, diverse areas, and Moblin tribes. Crossover with FINAL FANTASY XI with the Echoes of Vana’diel Alliance Raid.
Square Enix today released a new promotional video for Final Fantasy XIV: Trails of Dawn, in which players are invited to explore Tural, an all-new region. The video isn’t actually that long; it’s 20 seconds long, and it basically pokes fun at other travel videos that only highlight the good parts of a place and leave out all the dirty and awful parts that might discourage you from visiting. Along with the video, they also launched a new website called Tour Tural, which features a ton of interactive elements and information about the new region that you can check out in advance. Enjoy the content now that the expansion is out.

The new expansion will add a wealth of new content, including an increased level cap, multiple new classes, vast new areas, new allied tribes, new dungeons, and new core battle content such as FATEs, Hunts, Treasure Hunts, and Side Quests. Some of the newly announced features players can look forward to include:
New Job – The Viper is a close-range fighter who uses two one-handed swords combined into one two-handed weapon. New City – Turyoral, the capital of the federation that governs Tular, is located on the northern edge of Yoku Tular. New Areas – The tropical region of Kozamauca is filled with countless rivers, streams, and waterfalls, while the arid region of Sharoani has vast dry plains where a railroad is being constructed. New Alliance Tribe – The Moblins live in the jungles of Kozamauca and look very similar to the Goblins, with whom they share a common ancestry. New Threat – The Eliminator New Alliance Raid – Echoes of Vana’diel, a crossover series with Final Fantasy XI. New Exclusive Job – Scheduled to be released later in the Patch 7.x series.
