Raise your glass high as you enjoy a dungeon feast

A staple of fantasy stories is undoubtedly the wooden barrel mug. They appear in movies like The Lord of the Rings, games like Dungeons & Dragons, and countless fantasy anime and manga series. Feel like you’re exploring a dungeon with Urakita Craft Studio’s new “Delicious in Dungeon” wooden barrel jockey mug.

On March 25th, Urakita Craft Studio’s X (formerly Twitter) account released a line of wooden barrel jockey mugs based on the 2024 anime series “Delicious in Dungeon.” In a tweet, the company indicated that four types of mugs with anime logos are available for purchase. There are two types of 1,000ml mugs and two types of 380ml mugs (approximately 34 fl oz and 12 fl oz, respectively) in dark brown and natural colors. The tweet also states that the 1,000ml mug comes with six bottoms to choose from featuring anime characters: Walking Mushroom, Marcil, Chilchak, Red Dragon, Laios, and Senshi.

Mugs are quite heavy in weight and price. According to Urakita’s website, the 380ml mug costs 11,880 yen and the 1,000ml mug costs 17,380 yen (approximately 78.32 USD and 114.58 USD, respectively), and they weigh a whopping 95g and 195g (approximately 0.21 lb and 0.43 lb, respectively). No wonder, according to the Urakita Craft Studio website, each Jockey Mug is handcrafted one by one. Unfortunately, the homepage states that they do not ship internationally, so fans outside of Japan will not be able to purchase the mug.

In addition to the Delicious in Dungeon wooden barrel jockey mug, Urakita Craft Studio also sells a series of wooden barrel jockey mugs inspired by Monster Hunter and Mushoku Tensei. These mugs also come in a variety of sizes and designs, giving fans plenty to choose from.

The Delicious in Dungeon Wooden Barrel Jockey Mug is a little pricey, but it’s a great gift for fans of the series.
