Happy Earth Day!
April 22nd of each year is dedicated to Earth Day. The goal of Earth Day is to raise awareness about eliminating plastic pollution. Earthday.org has many ways to help if you want to get involved.
This day is also the perfect day to reflect on the absolute beauty of what’s right in front of us, and I think today is the perfect day to reflect on some of the great things we’ve seen on this planet. I did.
I love national parks and mountains, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to show my love for what I see through my own lens. I’ve been known to leave any national park I go to leaving the park cleaner than when I left it, and take out everything I brought with me.
Earth Day coincides with National Parks Week, so if you’re planning on heading to a national park this week, each day has a different theme around park health and education. All information is available at nps.gov. Today’s theme is Earth Day and “Join us in a global celebration that encourages education and stewardship of the Earth’s natural resources.” Many parks also host volunteer events.
Now I know I’ve only been to a few, but I’m just getting started. My goal now is to visit as many national parks as possible. A list of the best summer holidays in the country has been published and many have made it to the list.
Now, let’s take a look at some of my favorite sights on this planet through my lens.

Parade of SNL cast members arrives at Ridgefield Playhouse
Saturday Night Live is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Tickets for the actual live broadcast are hard to come by, but if you want to see most of SNL’s current cast, he’ll be coming to Ridgefield Playhouse over the next few months.
