Fast travel isn’t immediately available in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. And even if the option is available, it’s not necessarily the most convenient system.
The Lost Crown has 10 biomes to navigate, ranging from the picturesque Hyrcanian Forest to the gloomy Depths (a near-unlit sewer area, a must for this type of game). As of this writing, we don’t know how many locations you can fast travel to in total, but they are fairly small, usually only one or two per biome. Please note that you cannot fast travel to the exciting tree that serves as a checkpoint.
Here’s how to unlock fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and a list of all fast travel locations found so far.
How to unlock fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
You can’t unlock fast travel in The Lost Crown until you head to the Sacred Archive biome, which is technically located in the Lower City. And if you’re in a hurry, you might miss it.
As you approach the Sacred Archives, instead of heading up toward the waypoint (which appears on your map when playing in guided mode), turn left. You are looking for this room:

A purple sphere will appear in front of the broken pedestal.

Destroying the orb will repair the pedestal. When you interact with this, you will see a list of the fast travel locations you have unlocked.
You’ll know you’re near a fast travel spot when your screen turns into a purple overlay while you’re exploring. If your screen starts to look like this…

…explore your surroundings until you find a fast travel spot. It is usually located near the Wakaku Tree.
