He highlighted the disparity between the luxurious surroundings enjoyed by many tourists and the modest accommodation some workers live in, and considered this a discrepancy that needed to be corrected.

This joint effort aims to provide up to 100 housing units tailored to the needs of low-income tourism workers this fiscal year.

Minister Bartlett announced plans to move beyond direct government intervention and involve the private sector in housing initiatives.
Hotel investors will contribute by providing 3,000 housing units, and concrete projects are already underway.
