Khorgos Port has seen a significant increase in inbound and outbound tourists since the implementation of mutual visa exemptions between Kazakhstan and China in November 2023. In recent days, the Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center on the China-Kazakhstan border has seen a peak in border tourism.
