Memphis Tourism’s VIP music event surprises Sydney’s travel industry

Memphis Tourism will raise the roof on Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on May 15, 2024, partnering with partners United Airlines and Cosmos to showcase acclaimed Tennessee talent and talent for the travel industry and media. They performed a special performance featuring the high rhythm section of platinum record holders.

Industry insiders spotted Memphis stars Boo Mitchell, Lina Beach and Jerome ahead of their performance at the annual Blues on Broadbeach Festival on the Gold Coast from May 16th to 19th.・Watched a live performance by the High Rhythm Section accompanied by Chism.

High Rhythm Section producer Boo Mitchell became the first Memphis band to win Record of the Year in 2016 for his Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk.” , left their mark on Memphis music history.

Memphis Tourism Event Lina BandSinger-songwriter Lina Beach will appear on stage with a high rhythm section.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lina Beach will also perform with the group, along with popular Memphis soul singer Jerome Chism, as well as performers who participated in Blues on Broadbeach with the band. Showed off.

The all-star ensemble is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of the acclaimed documentary Take Me to the River, performing songs from the film during their set.

One lucky VIP event attendee, Flight Center Senior Consultant Penny Baker, received a trip to Memphis for two on United Airlines and a flight to the iconic Peabody Memphis, thanks to Memphis Tourism and our partners. We won a 3-night stay at a hotel, passes to attractions, and meals.
