Jamaica’s tourism industry is set to undergo a major transformation with the introduction of the Poco Loco Floating Bar.
Located in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, this unique attraction is the result of a $1 million investment. Spanning 6,000 square feet, the attraction aims to provide visitors with an unparalleled on-water experience.
Promoting local economies and employment
Speaking at the opening ceremony on June 16, Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett expressed optimism about the potential impact Poco Loco could have on local tourism.
The project has already created jobs for 65 Jamaicans, with plans to add a further 10 employees in the near future.
This growth not only strengthens the local economy but also underscores the community’s commitment to development and sustainable progress.
