The Seychelles Tourism Board recently completed a successful roadshow around the West Coast of the United States, promoting the archipelago as a top travel destination. The event, which ended on July 18, 2024, visited Phoenix, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa and San Diego, and brought together over 100 top travel advisors.
Led by Seychelles Tourism Executives Natasha Selbina and Lorilla Young, the roadshow showcased the island’s beautiful beaches, world-class diving and luxury accommodation, and was joined by local partners including Eden Bleu Hotels, Constance Group, Creole Travel Services and Blue Safari Seychelles.
The event featured engaging presentations, one-on-one networking sessions and a seven-day trip and airfare giveaway for four lucky attendees. Notably, of the veteran travel professionals in attendance, only two had ever been to the Seychelles, highlighting the importance of such an educational event.
The Seychelles Tourism Board highlighted its commitment to sustainable tourism practices and preserving the islands’ natural beauty. The success of the roadshow is expected to attract more long-distance American travelers to Seychelles, which is already in the island nation’s top 10 visitor destinations.
