TEHRAN – An important meeting between the Cultural Coordination Center of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue and the Iran Touring and Automobile Club highlighted the promotion of women’s tourism gatherings as an international cooperation.
ACD Special Envoy Mohammad Jafari Malek met with TACI CEO Mohammad Hossein Sufi to discuss possibilities for cooperation, dialogue and cultural exchange between the two organizations.

She said that the successful events of the Iran Touring and Automobile Club, such as exhibitions and gatherings on an international scale, drew attention to the implementation of the cultural and tourism project “Asian Women’s Gathering”, which ACD focused on. The ACD is an intergovernmental organization comprised of 35 countries and the most comprehensive organization in Asia, chaired by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran since September 2023.
Yazd, Iran, was chosen as the cultural and tourism capital by the ACD this year, and ambassadors from member countries visited the city in March.
