Three major airlines will launch routes from Seattle to Taiwan, with approximately 46 direct flights per week. The event was attended by 35 Seattle-area travel advisors, who engaged in lively business discussions.
To promote these new routes and increase flight frequency for major airlines, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTA), in cooperation with local governments, travel agencies, airlines, and performance organizations, held the Taiwan Tourism Promotion Conference in Seattle on June 3. The event brought together 35 representatives from the Seattle area travel industry to engage in enthusiastic business discussions.
During the business event, TTA unveiled its new logo and slogan, “Taiwan – Waves of Wonder.” Notable guests such as Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Tammy Canavan and Greater Seattle Partners CEO Brian Surratt attended the event, which attracted many attendees with its vibrant activities and immersive Taiwan experiences. Guests at the event were excited to see Taiwan featured in Seattle and eager to build closer collaborations with Taiwanese partners.
Following the successful promotion in Seattle, the delegation will head to Los Angeles and San Francisco to hold Taiwan Tourism Workshops on June 5 and 7, respectively. Highlighting the importance of the US market, Joe Y. Chou, Director General of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, will attend the Los Angeles event to encourage cooperation between Taiwanese and US tourism businesses. The effort aims to create partnership opportunities and encourage local agents to develop and promote travel packages to Taiwan that cater to the interests of American travelers.
