In advance of National Parks Week, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, an Austin, Texas-based spirits brand, donated $250,000 to the National Park Foundation (NPF). To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with Southern California hat company Melin to create a hat for anyone who wants to show off their love of spirits and national parks all at once.

And 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the hats will be donated to the NPF and other similar organizations. Tito’s said this is an opportunity for people to donate $80 to a cause they care about and receive a branded activewear cap as a thank you.

The purpose of Tito’s donation is to continue advocating for environmental protection in national parks across the United States. This can also lead to significant tax deductions for brands that frequently make charitable donations.

“Tito’s Handmade Vodka is proud to donate $250,000 to the National Park Foundation,” Brian Petrosio, national trade marketing director for Tito’s Handmade Vodka, told GearJunkie. “We partnered with premium hat brand Merin because of our shared commitment to quality craftsmanship and environmental protection.”

The Merrin x Tito Odyssey HYDRO hat is a high-quality ball cap that looks great on the trail, as well as at the beach, backyard BBQ, or sporting event. Navy 5-panel hat with snapback closure. The material is hydrophobic, so water beads up from the crown panel. It has a custom-molded rubberized patch and comes with its own carrying bag.

The hat is a statement that you support national parks and enjoy a vibrant and fun time. The cap logo sums up our attitude: “Protect where we play.” Please enjoy pouring more. ”

It’s an expensive ball cap that costs $80. But every time he wears it, he gets the satisfaction of knowing that $80 was donated directly to one of five different charities.

“What’s really special is that 100% of the net proceeds from the Merrin x Tito’s Odyssey HYDRO hat will be donated to a Tito’s supported nonprofit of the customer’s choice,” Petroccio said. To support organizations that make a difference. ”

Anyone who purchases a hat can choose to donate their proceeds to Emancipet, a nonprofit organization that increases access to affordable veterinary services. Employ Heroes USA to help military members and veterans succeed in the civilian workforce. These include Musicians on Call, which brings live and recorded music to hospital bedsides, and the South Smoke Foundation, which provides services to food and beverage workers during times of crisis.

And of course, when you purchase the Merrin x Tito’s Odyssey HYDRO National Park Week Hat, you’ll be donating the proceeds to the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official fundraising partner of the National Park Service.

Since its inception as a brand, Tito’s has had a penchant for philanthropy. When we first started, we donated vodka to local non-profit events in the Austin, Texas area. That spirit of support has only grown over the years, becoming one of the brand’s core principles.

Tito’s says the company encourages all employees to support causes they are passionate about with its products. The occasion included a thank-you note, traditionally signed, “I love you, Tito.”

That’s why the nonprofit arm of the brand is called Love, Tito’s. NPF has been a beneficiary of Tito’s goods store “Love” since 2023. This $250,000 National Parks Week donation and collaboration with Merrin highlight Tito’s commitment to amplifying the environmental message behind NPF. We want to help protect our parks. This money will help achieve that goal.
