Five hotels in Arizona have been named the world’s best hotels for 2024.
Travel + Leisure has published its 2024 T+L 500 list of the world’s best hotels, compiled based on reader ratings, in its May issue. The list includes five of his hotels in Arizona, including four that ranked on T+L’s 2023 Best Hotels in Arizona rankings.
Readers rate them based on the level of quality, luxury, service, and amenities. Check out the Arizona hotels that made Travel + Leisure’s 2024 Best Hotels list.

Travel + Leisure’s top 5 hotels in Arizona
Readers of Travel + Leisure, America’s largest travel media brand, have named five Arizona hotels in their 2024 ranking of the world’s best hotels.
Castle Hot Springs, Morristown. Hermosa Inn, Paradise Valley. Mountain Shadows Resort, Paradise Valley. Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, Gurney’s Resort & Spa, Paradise Valley. Tanque Verde Ranch, Tucson.

How were Travel + Leisure World’s Best Hotels 2024 chosen?
The T+L 500 list is based on T+L’s annual World’s Best Awards, selected based on reader reviews and feedback. Readers were surveyed about their travel experiences around the world, including hotels, cities, islands, airlines, cruise ships, and other experiences.
Readers rated hotels based on rooms and amenities, location, service, food, and overall value. They scored each category on a scale from “excellent” to “poor.”
The hotels honored this year are popular among the magazine’s readers, who named Castle Hot Springs as Arizona’s Best Hotel in 2021 and 2022 and Hermosa Inn as Arizona’s Best Hotel in 2023. All hotels except Tanque Verde Ranch were included in last year’s list of 10. Best hotels in Arizona.
