TravelTech.vc has launched its second venture capital fund aimed at investing in the next leaders in European travel technology.
The team behind the Travel Tech 2 (TT2) investment platform includes travel veterans Alex Gisbert, Javier González-Soria y Moreno de la Santa, Toni Raurich-Marcet, Leonardo Saroni, and Jorge Schoenenberger. All have experience with leading online travel brands including: Booking.com, Expedia, Google, Meta.
They believe the next 12-18 months are a good time to invest in travel technology startups based in Europe. The company prioritizes growth-stage companies.
TravelTech.vc has started raising the fund’s target of 50 million euros and will invest in 10 companies with average recurring revenue of at least 1 million euros.

“The focus of this fund is to leverage the expertise and networks of our five general partners to support and advance entrepreneurs and their businesses with potential and strong foundations in competitive strategy, technology, talent and culture. ” said the team.
TT2 will also leverage the experience of an advisory board comprised of more than 80 travel and technology companies and investors, including Amadeus, Barceló Hotels, BCD Travel and the former Hotel Bed’s HBX Group. The board provides advice to startups and investees and can even become investors.
TT2 focuses on three areas:
Client-Focused Technology – Businesses that enable a single customer view, empower connected travelers, and improve the customer experience.
Immature technologies – Businesses focused on the new challenges and demands of modern consumers, such as omnimobility, managing risk and price with data, and creating dynamic experiences for travelers at their destinations.
Increase efficiency – B2B solutions that enable modern travel as the volume and demand for travel continues to rapidly increase. Examples include growing your vacation rental business, efficiently managing consistent travel disruptions, resolving legacy technology, and optimizing operational delivery for your hotel and travel business.
The current fund’s predecessor, TT1, invested in seed rounds for companies such as Troop Travel and Operto.
TravelTech.vc is not the only investment firm with a spotlight on Europe. Roch Ventures launched a fund in 2022 with over 100 million euros and subsequently announced investments in WeSki, Apartool and Raus.
