To curb overcrowding, Amsterdam has decided to ban the construction of new hotels. The Dutch capital also plans to cut back on river cruise stays in a bid to combat overtourism. In a bid to tackle overtourism and ensure the city’s livability, Amsterdam authorities have announced a bold new policy banning the construction of new hotels in the vibrant Dutch capital, The Washington Post reports Ta.
