According to a 2023 survey by Booking.com, 83% of travelers worldwide are prioritizing sustainable travel, with 61% saying they have an increased interest in sustainable travel post-pandemic. Additionally, 49% feel there is a lack of sustainable travel options. This data highlights the growing importance of sustainability in travelers’ decision-making process, stimulating demand for responsible and eco-friendly travel options.

These findings support the growing expectation that hotels will embrace sustainability and provide eco-conscious amenities.
