Millions of iPhone owners are getting updates to help them travel.
IHG Hotels and Resorts plans to introduce Apple AirPlay functionality to select regions.

That means guests at certain IGH hotels will be able to cast their favorite content from their iPhones to their TVs.
Some hotels only offer Chromecast support, which can be frustrating for iPhone owners who want to screencast to their TV.
AirPlay is now available at over 60 IGH hotels in North America.
More locations will be upgrading their TVs with this feature in the coming months.
“Users can automatically connect to compatible LG hotel TVs in their rooms and the hotel Wi-Fi network by scanning a unique QR code on the screen.
“Once connected, guests can share almost anything on the big screen in their hotel room directly from their iPhone or iPad.
“Guests can pair multiple devices to their TVs, so friends and loved ones traveling with them can enjoy it too,” Apple said in a statement.
To use AirPlay in hotels, you need an iPhone XS or later.

To start using AirPlay, make sure your iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi as the smart TV you plan to stream content to.
Find the content you want to stream on your iPhone and tap the AirPlay button.
It looks a bit like a TV, but you may need to tap the share button to find the AirPlay option.
Click AirPlay and a list of devices will pop up.
Select the device on which you want to view your content.
The two devices are now synced and you can play your content.
Once done, click the AirPlay button on your iPhone again to end the session.
