An earthquake struck Morocco in September of this year, and the aftermath caused severe damage. Although the country is still recovering, the response from travelers was great. Travel is not often a solution in response to a crisis, but in this case it was necessary as tourism is Morocco’s largest source of income. Travelers are encouraged to continue visiting this country to explore everything it has to offer, and this country has a lot. The city’s jewel box of colours, sights and sounds, and the vast history and culture that lies beyond – it’s no surprise that this country’s jewels are in the top 10 in terms of support this year.
