Most Popular and Cheapest Memorial Day Weekend Vacation Destinations

Thanks to recently released Google Flights data, we already know which destinations will be the most popular this summer. These big destinations, like London, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, and New York, are pretty urban spots with lots to do and plenty of great restaurants, but one of the biggest joys of summer is the beaches. It’s missing. Sure, you can find a beach, but that doesn’t mean London is on your bucket list.

Luckily, courtesy of Priceline, we also have information about the most popular beaches to visit this summer. And with Memorial Day weekend just around the corner, we’re also getting tips on where to travel for the popular holiday, which is considered the official start of summer. This year’s Memorial Day is his Monday, May 27th. Mark your calendar and start planning your trip. Even late in the season, you can still find some pretty affordable flights. The average cost of tickets for Memorial Day weekend is now 20% cheaper than last year.

First, let’s take a look at the most popular beach destinations. According to Priceline, the top beach destinations are very tropical. Another bonus? During the Memorial Day weekend from May 24th to May 27th, 2024, average round-trip tickets for most destinations start from less than $500. Top destinations for Memorial Day 2024 include:
