Most in-demand destinations, according to new travel advisor research by American Marketing Group, Inc. (AMG), an organization that includes Travel Savers, NEST (Travel Sales Entrepreneurs Network), and The Affluent Traveler Collection some of them have become clear. Here are some travel trends for 2024, as well as other anticipated travel trends.

They want to spread their wings and try things they’ve never done before: new places, new activities, new styles of travel. ”

Here are AMG’s predictions for next year’s top destinations and travel trends.
Popular destinations in 2024
According to the survey, demand for Europe remains very high, occupying three out of the top five spots on the list of top destinations. Unsurprisingly, Italy, which remains a hotspot, ranks first for him, with Greece third and Portugal her fifth. His last two spots on the list are Alaska (No. 2) and Mexico’s Riviera Maya (No. 4), reflecting consumer interest in bucket-list experiences and all-inclusive vacations, respectively.

AMG also revealed its forecast for next year’s top far-flung destinations, based on demand for both bucket-list trips and off-the-beaten path destinations. South Africa tops the list, followed by Eastern Europe, Japan, Thailand and Antarctica.
Next year’s top trends
All-inclusive travel is seen by AMG as the biggest trend for 2024, citing travelers’ desire for “added value and ease of planning for their holidays.” River cruises (No. 2), multigenerational travel (No. 3), ocean cruising (No. 4), and small group travel (No. 5) round out the list. Interest in multigenerational and group travel is likely driven by the continued desire to travel and spend time with loved ones post-pandemic.

Given customers’ current intentions to make their travel dreams a reality, the top emerging trend revealed in the study is ‘must-do trips’, complemented by off-the-beaten path destinations. and is in 3rd place. Other trends in this category include personalized experiences (No. 2), authentic travel (No. 4), and artificial intelligence-assisted travel planning (No. 5).
“Now more than ever, people are prioritizing their bucket lists and giving themselves the gift of travel,” Mazza said. “They are no longer waiting for the when and the how. They are now working with travel advisors to customize vacations that will create precious memories for the rest of their lives.”
