South Korea’s largest craft beer and fried chicken chain opens in Singapore

Daily Beer, South Korea’s largest craft beer and fried chicken chain, is coming to Singapore later this month. The brand has over 370 stores in South Korea and is one of the country’s leading craft beer taprooms. And in just a few weeks, it will unveil its first Korean outpost in Singapore’s vibrant Telok Ayer district.

The store’s name, Daily Beer, is a literal translation of “생활맥주,” which also means “beer of life.” The chain is easily recognizable throughout South Korea due to the eye-catching “Seikatsu” (“Life” in Mandarin) and “No Beer No Work” decals on all storefronts.

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the brand’s birth. Since opening in 2014, Daily Beer has collaborated with over 50 local Korean breweries to create unique specialty craft beers. Just last year, they released a Seoul-only IPA brewed using wild yeast collected from pine trees in Namsan Mountain.

The new Singapore branch offers a range of craft beers produced exclusively by Korean breweries, served in the brand’s signature beer glasses. In addition to that, the chain also serves crowd-favorite dishes such as the popular crispy chicken and tteokbokki, as well as kolbaenggi noodles, which are chewy noodles filled with marinated whelk.

Further details regarding the opening of Daily Beer, including a confirmed opening date, menu, and pricing, have yet to be announced, so watch this space for updates. In the meantime, check out Daily Beer’s official website or Instagram page for more information.
