Partnership for sustainable events and climate education in European tourism
The European Travel Commission (ETC) is proud to announce a ground-breaking partnership with Tomorrow’s Air, a brand of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). Tomorrow’s Air is dedicated to inspiring and educating the world’s travel organizations on climate-smart travel solutions. Tomorrow’s Air is working to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store it forever, fostering a greener future for the travel industry. The partnership aims to raise awareness of climate-friendly travel among European travel stakeholders and support innovation in climate technology.
Main purpose of the partnership
Tomorrow’s Air – ETC’s sustainable events and education partnership is built around two main objectives:
Supporting ETC’s Sustainable Event Goals: Tomorrow’s Air works with ETC to promote sustainable events that prioritize climate-friendly initiatives. This includes integrating support for climate technology solutions such as carbon removal and permanent storage. Educating Europe’s tourism stakeholders and travelers: Tomorrow’s Air and ETC are working together to educate Europe’s tourism industry and guests about climate-smart travel. We hope to have a significant positive impact on the environment by raising awareness of the benefits of incorporating climate change technology into travel strategies.
Empowering event participants to take action on climate change
As part of the partnership, Tomorrow’s Air will provide ETC event attendees with a custom payment link to purchase a €25 package each time they register for an ETC event. The package includes engaging education on climate-smart travel and climate change technology innovations such as carbon removal through permanent storage. For all participants who choose to purchase this package, ETC will match their payment with an additional donation of 25 euros. Payments made by participants and matched by ETC will contribute to the removal and permanent storage of 52 kilograms of carbon dioxide.

By engaging Europe’s travel companies and travelers, fostering innovation in climate technology and supporting sustainable events, we aim to create a brighter and greener future for the travel industry.
Together, we want to inspire the European travel community, as well as travel organizations around the world, to join forces to fight climate change and make travel a force for positive environmental impact.
