When I go on vacation, I expect one of several things. To relax, go on an adventure, and see some amazing things. There are plenty of places in Colorado where you can do all three. But as a traveler, one thing you don’t want to do on vacation is get bored.

No matter what time of year you visit, Rocky Mountain National Park always offers an adventure. Estes Park is full of fun shops and there’s always a chance you’ll see a large herd of elk wandering down the middle of the road. You know what I’m saying. Colorado is an overall fun place to visit as a tourist.

There are some tourist attractions that will leave you feeling overwhelmed, or should I say underwhelmed. According to solitared.com, Colorado is home to two of the most boring tourist attractions in the entire world. He analyzed 3,290 popular tourist attractions around the world and in Colorado, and somehow he ended up with two that made it onto his list. That’s a little hard to believe.

Colorado’s most boring tourist attractions

The first boring tourist attraction on the list is located in Colorado Springs. This tourist attraction is a museum that will take you back in time. Ghost Town Museum is rated 4.4 stars on Google with over 2,300 reviews. The very first review doesn’t say anything about the museum being boring, quite the opposite.

An amazing and evocative collection and visible storage of Western artifacts from the mid-1800s to early 1900s. It’s a visual feast of amazing Western memorabilia that’s worth visiting again and again.

Maggie Smith-Hall says in a Google review:

Meow Wolf Denver – Convergence Station

Meow Wolf is one of the places I’ve always wanted to visit. The quirky, psychedelic decorations and artwork make it a must-see experience for everyone. However, solitaired.com ranks Meow Wolf Denver at number 73 on his list of the 100 most boring tourist attractions in the world. With a 4.5 star rating on Google and over 12,700 reviews, I think it’s pretty far-fetched that Meow Wolf would make it onto the list of the world’s most boring tourist attractions.

It was my first time coming here with my family and it was such a great experience!

Lili says in her review of Meow Wolf on Google:

While we don’t completely agree that Colorado’s tourist attractions made the most boring list, we understand that some attractions aren’t for everyone. Check out the complete list of the world’s most boring tourist attractions at solitaired.com.
